About DIYPR
DIY PR for Indian founders. AI finds the right journalist for your story, drafts the pitch in your voice, sends from your own Gmail, tracks every open.
Why we built this
Most Indian early-stage founders need press but can't afford ₹1.5L/month to Cision or Muck Rack. They end up either spraying generic press releases (journalists hate it) or paying a PR agency that charges by the retainer and over-promises. Neither works.
DIYPR is the "founder mode" alternative: you keep ownership of the relationship with journalists (we never send from our domain — always your own Gmail), the AI handles the heavy lifting of who to pitch and how to frame it, and pricing starts at ₹5K/month.
Who's behind it
Built by the team behind StartupTalky— a decade of covering Indian startups means we've received and read tens of thousands of pitches. We know exactly what works, what doesn't, and which 10,000+ Indian tech, business, and startup journalists matter for which beat. That knowledge is baked into the matching model.
What we promise
- Gmail-only sending. Scope:
gmail.sendonly. We never read your inbox. - Your relationship, your data. Journalist contact info you import stays in your account.
- India-first pricing. ₹5K/month entry point, no setup fees, no per-pitch overage at the base tier.
- Honest pitches. AI assists; you write the story. We refuse to help with spammy spray-and-pray patterns.
